University of Colorado Hospital Burn Center Telephotography Project
- A partnership project between the University of Colorado Hospital Burn Center and the Denver Fire Fighters Burn Foundation designed to provide digital cameras to 75 hospitals in Colorado and 20 in Wyoming. These hospitals can then send photos of burn injured persons to the University of Colorado Hospital Burn Center physicians and quickly streamline the evaluation process following a burn injury.
- Provide training on HIPPA compliant transfer of images for participating hospitals.
- Project will help reduce the cost of unnecessary transfers and expedite the transport process of serious burns to the burn center.
- Donations provide cameras (approximately $120) and will help maintain the project in the coming years.
- Nikon Coolpix L24 Digital Camera, 14 MP, 37-134mm Lens
