Because of the nature of their jobs, professional fire fighters are often the first to come into contact with those who have suffered burn injuries.

Miision and services
Mission & Services In 1881 the Denver Fire Department organized its first professional fire company. In 1981, one hundred years after that first fire company was organized, Denver fire fighters created the Denver Fire Fighters Burn Foundation as a non-profit, charitable organization.
